  First, I'm no stranger to laundromats. I've used them in the past.
  
  Currently, I don't frequent laundromats. I have a facility at my apartment building. I just happened to be so distracted and worn out over the holidays that I needed the industrial sized capabilities of a laundromat to get caught up on laundry.
  
  Pros: Good selection of machines and sizes, for both wash and dry. Quarter machines worked.
  
  Neutral: Cost was just barely above what was "reasonable" in my mind.
  
  Cons: Trash was overflowing. Garbage, hair, dryer sheets, etc. all over the floor. People started their wash right when I got there and hasn't come back to process it until just before I left. Machines were not labeled clearly. Instructions were not quickly apparent.
  
  Overall, I didn't care for the facility.
  
  Oh, and one person came in and was watching videos on their phone. This wasn't a big deal except they did it at full volume and honestly, it sounded horrible.
  
  But heck, what do I know. Maybe it's trendy to go to do your laundry and watch a nice snuff film...

  This was the First time ever that I’ve used a public Laundry mat, and there were no clear directions on how to operate the machines. I did not know the difference between “Rinse Detergent” and “Wash Detergent”. When using the dryer, I did not think to pull the lint out, mostly because the sign for it was 50% worn off.
  
  The place was kind of clean, it was pretty much self serve. The other people using it were very quiet, and did not look friendly or open to talking to me.
